StatusClip helps you view, save and share status photos and videos that you have already viewed and that are available on your Android device.
The app does not require an account, sign-in or registration. It does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs or in-app purchases.
Data accessed by the app
To provide its core features, StatusClip may access photos and videos available on your device, including status media that you choose or allow the app to read. This access is used to show thumbnails, play videos, save selected media to your gallery, share selected media when you ask the app to do so, and support the optional auto-save feature.
StatusClip also stores app settings locally on your device, such as selected status sources, whether auto-save is enabled, display preferences, and local references to statuses you have saved.
Data collection and sharing
StatusClip does not upload your photos, videos, status media, settings or saved history to servers owned by the developer. The app does not sell personal data.
When you use the share button, Android opens the system share sheet and you choose the app or contact that receives the selected photo or video. That transfer is started by you and is handled by Android and the app you choose.
Permissions
Photos and videos: used to find and display status media on your device and to save selected media to your gallery.
Notifications: used only if you enable auto-save, so Android can show that the auto-save service is active.
Foreground service: used only for the optional auto-save feature while it is active.
Retention and deletion
StatusClip stores its settings and saved-status references locally on your device. You can delete this local app data by clearing the app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Downloaded photos and videos are stored in your gallery and can be deleted from your gallery app or file manager.

StatusClip is not affiliated with, associated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. Use the app responsibly and respect the privacy and rights of other people.

Recogida y uso compartido de datos

Cuando usas el botón de compartir, Android abre el menú del sistema y tú eliges la app o contacto que recibirá la foto o el vídeo seleccionado. Esa transferencia la inicias tú y la gestionan Android y la app que elijas.
Permisos
Fotos y vídeos: se usan para encontrar y mostrar estados en tu dispositivo y guardar los elementos seleccionados en tu galería.
Notificaciones: se usan solo si activas el autoguardado, para que Android muestre que el servicio está activo.
Servicio en primer plano: se usa solo para el autoguardado opcional mientras está activo.
Conservación y eliminación
StatusClip guarda sus ajustes y referencias de estados guardados localmente en tu dispositivo. Puedes borrar esos datos desde los ajustes de Android, limpiando los datos de la app o desinstalándola. Las fotos y vídeos descargados se guardan en tu galería y puedes eliminarlos desde tu app de galería o gestor de archivos.
